Our People : Bret Perlman

Brett Perlman is a management consultant focusing on the intersection of public policy and corporate strategy. Brett served as Commissioner of the Public Utility Commission of Texas for 1999-2003, where he was appointed by then-Governor George W. Bush. He was responsible for the successful restructuring of Texas' $17 billion electric utility industry and $4 billion telecommunications industry. His clients include Fortune 500 telecommunications and energy clients as well as public sector clients. He holds advanced degrees from Harvard and the University of Texas and an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.
