Ostroff Associates Welcomes Dan Fuller and Amy Kramer to Growing Government Affairs Team
ALBANY, N.Y. – Ostroff Associates, a premier New York State government relations firm based in Albany, today announced the hire of Senior Vice Presidents Dan Fuller and Amy Kramer.
Dan Fuller has worked in the legislative and public policy arenas in New York State and in Washington D.C. for over 20 years. Fuller, a policy expert in the field of public and higher education, joins the firm following years of experience at the highest levels of New York State government. Fuller most recently served as Deputy Secretary of Education for Governor Kathy Hochul, where he was responsible for overseeing and managing the education portfolio for the Executive Chamber – including pre-K through high school funding, teacher training, early childhood education, education technology, and school safety.
Fuller’s additional and wide-ranging work has involved SUNY, CUNY, NYSED, academic research capabilities, and facilities work for the State’s public colleges. Fuller is well-versed in a wide-range of policy issues. His strengths as an advocate include economic development, financial services, science and technology, health and mental health, information technology, construction and facilities, environment, and agriculture.
Amy Kramer brings over 20 years of experience working in state government, corporate and association management, with a focus on technology, financial services, and community investment. Kramer joins the firm following her 12-year tenure as President of AT&T New York, where she led the company’s external and public affairs as well as regulatory and legislative agendas, strategic communications, sponsorship and foundation activities within the State of New York. She was responsible for developing strategies and plans for achieving AT&T’s legislative and community investment objectives, and led outreach to key elected officials and policymakers in the state to disseminate the company’s perspective on a range of issues.
Kramer serves as Advocacy and Governmental Affairs Committee Chair for the New York State March of Dimes, as Board Member for St. Catherine’s Center for Children, a member of the New York Donate Life! Strategic Partnership Workgroup, and leads the St. Pius X Church Children’s Liturgy ministry.
“Combined, both Dan and Amy’s impressive knowledge and extensive experience in a wide-range of areas including New York State government, telecommunications, and education, will be a phenomenal resource for our clients at large,” said Ostroff Associates founder, president and CEO Rick Ostroff. “We’re proud to add Dan and Amy to our diverse team of lobbyists, and to continue expanding our capability to provide the highest level of service and achieve consistent results for our clients in New York.”
