The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Upstate NY/Vermont Chapter held their first annual Mission Day on Tuesday, April 30th at the New York State Capitol.  Local blood cancer survivors, their families, LLS board and staff members dedicated their day to raising awareness about the innovative research LLS is doing and the unprecedented progress they’re making in the fight against cancer.

A sincere thank you to Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and to each Senator, Assembly member and staff member who took the time to listen the stories of blood cancer survivors and learn about the numerous support services LLS is providing to blood cancer patients and their families every day in our community.
