Emily joined Ostroff Associates as a Legislative Analyst in January of 2021 with experience in legislative analysis and an understanding of New York State Government from her years working for the New York State Assembly, and on various political campaigns.

As Vice President, Emily works on behalf of several clients, including the firm’s gaming portfolio, along with clients in the hospitality and tourism, alcohol beverage and labor sectors.

Prior to joining Ostroff Associates, Emily served as an Analyst for the Racing and Wagering Committee and for the Local Government Committee in the Assembly’s Majority Program and Counsel Office. During her tenure with the Assembly, Emily also served as a Committee Assistant for several Assembly Committees, including Agriculture, Aging, Housing, and Economic Development. Through this experience, she gained vast knowledge of policy issues and of the legislative and budget process.

Before working at the Assembly, Emily worked on several political campaigns, including at the local, state, congressional, and presidential levels, which gave her the unique opportunity to live in several areas in New York and along the East Coast.

In 2025, Emily was recognized by City & State New York as a Trailblazer in Casinos and Sports Betting.

Emily is a Capital District native and a graduate from the State University of New York at Oswego with a B.A. in Political Science.
