Sara Rosenberger joined Ostroff Associates in February 2025, with experience in public relations, lobbying, legislative analysis, and government affairs.

At Ostroff Associates, Sara assists clients in navigating the complex legislative and political landscape of New York State across multiple policy and regulatory issue areas.

Sara began her career in the New York State Senate serving in various roles within communications and constituent services. She then joined the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) where she worked on behalf of hospitals and nursing homes to advance multiple policy priorities through the state’s legislative process while also balancing the complex and varying needs of the association’s membership. In this role, Sara continued to grow her internal and external relationship management skills and solidified a strong foundation in legislative analysis, advocacy, and government affairs.          

Sara most recently served as Director of New York State Relations for the American Red Cross, where she successfully secured state funding to support the organization’s disaster response and biomedical services. In addition to working with key stakeholders during the state budget process, Sara also worked to further reinforce the organization’s partnership with New York State government by collaborating with the leadership of both houses of the legislature on several public awareness campaigns.

Sara received her Master of Arts in Communication, with a concentration in political communication, from the State University of New York at Albany, and her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The College of Saint Rose.
