‍ALBANY, N.Y. – Ostroff Associates, a premier government relations firm based in New York’s capital city, today announces the hire of General Counsel and Director of Procurement Services Marc Hiller.

Hiller joins Ostroff Associates with over 30 years of government experience and the highest level of expertise in the New York State procurement process.

Formerly the supervising attorney for procurement in the Office of General Services Counsel’s Office, Hiller supported OGS Procurement Services and the OGS Agency Procurement Office. There, he oversaw a $29 billion portfolio comprised of approximately 1,500 commodity, services, and technology contracts used by more than 7,600 organizations.

Marc’s experience also includes the role of lead counsel at the New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) for various programs such as the Contracts and Procurements Office, Telephony/Network Infrastructure Delivery Services, the Chief Administrative Office, the Broadband Program Office and the Policy Office.

Marc has extensive knowledge of the entire procurement process from drafting solicitations, assessing vendor responsibility, reviewing award/non-award determinations, negotiating and drafting contracts, overseeing vendor debriefings and addressing contract administration issues.
