This was a record breaking year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2017 Light the Night Walk! Thanks to generous support from our sponsors and walk participants, this year we raised $425,000 to help find a cure for blood cancers. Rick Ostroff would like to extend a special thank you to his Light the Night Walk Co-Chair Bill Lia, CBS6 News Anchor Greg Floyd and the staff at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Upstate New York/Vermont Chapter for their dedication to this lifesaving cause, and the time and effort they committed to help make this important event a success.
The Light the Night Walk was a special event where family and friends of patients, survivors and all those who have lost loved ones to these diseases came together to bring help and hope to thousands of people battling blood cancers. All of the funds we have raised go directly to the research and development of groundbreaking treatments and local patient support services.
